QoS Labs participated
with great success in the "Gartner Summit III - Application Integration
& Web Services", the most important Information and Communication
Technologies (ICT) event, which took place at Banamex’s Expo Center
in Mexico City, Mexico.
This event is an
international encounter of ICT specialists, organized by Gartner every year
in various countries around the world. Gartner is one of the most
recognized R&D firms worldwide. It supports more than 10,000 companies
in understanding the technology industry and driving their business growth
strategies, by bringing top-level analysts who lead today’s ICT industry
opinion.
The event was held
during two full days of valuable presentations and interaction with
Gartner’s Analysts. Among them, Frank Kenney and Maria Luisa Kun,
maintained private sessions with Alfredo Sanchez, Hector Rivero and Ivan
Santacruz, QoS Labs’ senior management executives, to discuss about market
status and QoS Labs’ SOA-solutions positioning within the ICT industry. In
addition, the event included interactive sessions, offering a great
opportunity to establish business relationships with potential customers
and strategic allies.
Among the participants,
we found more than 300 top-level managers and leaders involved in the ICT
space, representing private and public organizations--including large
enterprises from different sectors, as well as Governmental organizations
such as local and federal agencies, departments, commissions, bureaus, etc.
It is a fact that the evolution of the ICT industry is one of the main
concerns of leading enterprises in the region.
The message that QoS
Labs communicated during the event, "Experience, knowledge, and
technology to create a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), allowing
enterprises to integrate to an interconnected world via standards",
attracted the interest of more than 154 participants.
All conferences exposed
the new concepts and technology challenges that companies are currently
facing as part of the ICT market evolution. Some of the most relevant
concepts included Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service
Bus (ESB), Business Activity Monitor (BAM), Business Process Management
(BPM), Service-Oriented Development of Applications (SODA), Composite
Applications, new trends in application development, Web Services, and
Security.
QoS Labs’ participation
in Gartner’s event is part of its continuous effort to leverage its market
position as a leading company in service-oriented solutions based on
standards, offering neutral consulting best practices, integration,
provisioning, and management of Web
Services for the enterprise and Government markets.
