Application as a Service Lab (appLab)

 

Develop a proprietary Application Service Provider (ASP) platform with advanced Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and e-Business capabilities to create multi-tenant managed services from leading enterprise software applications

 

- Implementation of a metadirectory that interoperates with LDAP and Active Directory, and can be shared by all SaaS applications.

- Refinement of the ASP model based on functionalities of leading enterprise software applications in the market.

- Integration of ERP, CRM, Portal, e-Business, search engine, workflow, DBMS and business analytics on a functional enterprise managed platform with single sign-on capabilities.

- Development of EAI connectors and Java APIs for SaaS integration (Livelink, LDAP adapter, Vantive to Peoplesoft, Broadvision, etc.)

- Multi-tenancy model to share ERP and CRM software applications and infrastructure safely among multiple companies.

- 2nd generation of the SOA reference framework.

- 2nd generation of the QoS Labs’ SaaS portal with web-enabled ERP and CRM services, e-Commerce, content & document management.

- Development of IP accounting components to identify IP traffic flows for each SaaS application (RTFM, NetFlow).

- Object-oriented model for SaaS configuration matrix (network devices, application servers, web servers, DBMS servers, etc.)

- 1st generation of the QoS Labs’ SOA knowledgebase.

- Use cases applied to manufacturing, retail, HR and multiple social community web sites (supermarket, health care, entertainment, women, fashion, etc.) technologies to facilitate service integration.

- Study of semantic portal technologies.

- First semantic portal use cases.
